The Hydradermie Youth Facial: The Wishing Well Health & Beauty Spa

As I embark on the final year of my twenties (how did this happen) I have recently taken my skin care regime up a gear, that means no using baby wipes to remove my makeup EVER, even when I can’t be bothered and keeping up with regular facial treatments. My mission…to keep hold of my youthful skin for as long as physically possible, because prevention is better than the cure!!

I love a good facial and was particularly in need of a deep cleansing treatment as I tend to suffer with deep pores especially around my nose area. When the lovely ladies at the Wishing Well Beauty invited me to trial there new Guinot, Hydradermie Youth facial it was a no brainer of course, and perfect timing, right before my trip to india!

It was my first ever Guinot treatment but I have heard nothing but good things about this brand that is used nation wide across most high end salons…so they must be doing something right!

I arrived at the Wishing Well and sat down for a thorough consultation with Laura and Sarah. We went through everything they needed to know about my skin, diet and health, as the Hydradermie Youth Facial is tailored to each specific person, including all all skin types and all ages.

The appropriate products were selected and matched before it was time to begin.

It is not your average facial, a machine is used to infuse the gels, cleansers and creams which increases the depth of the cleanse.

The first step…deep cleanse and exfoliation mask to get rid of any dirt and makeup.

The treatment is divided into three phases, first up it’s the Dynamic Ionisation phase using massage rollers to “release an alternating galvanic current that maximises the in-depth absorption of the gel serums.”

Next step…The Oxygenation by Thermal Electrode phase which sends effects of heat on the skin. The heat is very gentle and is applied with an oxygenating cream to help boost cellular activity.

And finally my favourite part..a deep massage to compliment the technical benefits of the Hydradermie Cellular Energy machine, transmitting energy to the skin cells, It was one of those moments that you don’t want to end.
